Location

Located in Mardhari village in Umaria district, this unique safari lodge in Madhya Pradesh is well connected by rail, air, and road. Umaria railway station is a less than an hour's drive. Jabalpur is the nearest airport at 188 km.

    Tiger Crossing Jeep

    Two game drives every day in the Bandhavgarh National Park - the heart of Tiger country. Samode Safari Lodge takes you on a game drive in its own fleet of customized 4X4 vehicles accompanied by professionally trained guides.

    The morning drive starts at dawn and usually lasts for about 4 hours. The evening drive is shorter - about 3 hours. On prior intimation, exclusive drives and full day drives can also be arranged.

    How to get there

    By Air

    The nearest airport to Bandhavgarh is Jabalpur city, which is well connected to major cities of India. Private charters can land near Bandhavgarh National Park, Umaria district at a small air-strip facility. Jabalpur Airport is 199 kms which is a 4-hour 30-minute and has direct flights to and from Delhi and Mumbai. Flight options include Air India, SpiceJet.

    By Train

    Umaria, Maihar, and Katni are major railway stations with good train connectivity across India. Umaria is the nearest railway station at a distance of 32 kms, while Maihar is 97 kms and Katni is 100 kms from Bandhavgarh.
