KARAN SINGH

Joint Managing Director and Co-Founder

Karan Singh is responsible for leading Sales, Marketing and PR initiatives in India. He is also responsible for developing new Business Partnerships and Strategic Alliances.

Karan has more than 30 years' experience in the Hospitality, Travel and Diversified Financial Services businesses with two of the world's most respected service brands - American Express and The Oberoi Group. Prior to co-founding Premier Hotels of Asia, he was Vice President - Sales at The Oberoi Group. He also served as Head, American Express Travel and Foreign Exchange Services in India and held board positions at American Express and Tata Finance American Express Limited.

An alumnus of The Oberoi School of Hotel Management, Mayo College and St. Stephen's College, Delhi, Karan has hands on experience in the travel business in key markets across India. He is a keen sportsman and a member of some of India's most prestigious clubs and associations. He has an extensive network and strong relationships with business leaders within the travel and corporate fraternity.

Sujit Mittra

SUJIT MITTRA

Joint Managing Director and Co-Founder

Sujit Mittra is responsible for leading Sales, Marketing and PR initiatives in the Asia Pacific region. He is also overall responsible for leading Marketing and Strategic Alliance initiatives.

Sujit is an accomplished Marketing, Communications and Brand professional with strong experience in the Asia Pacific markets. During his 21 years with American Express in Asia, he led Marketing, Reputation Management and Brand-building strategies besides several partnership programs with hotels to deliver incremental business from affluent customers. He developed thought leadership programs in the luxury space at a brand level.

In his role as a Marketing Consultant, Sujit has advised many luxury travel related businesses in Asia. He has developed an extensive professional and personal network of relationships with senior executives across several businesses.

Sujit holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Aakriti Batra

AAKRITI BATRA

Vice President

Aakriti is responsible for direct Sales and Business Development in the subcontinent. She personally manages key account relationships. She will also be responsible for developing new business and implementing the partnership program with hotel partners in the subcontinent.

Aakriti has a stellar track record of over 9 years in the hospitality business during which she worked with some of India's finest luxury hotel companies such as The Oberoi Group and The Imperial, New Delhi, as a member of their Sales and Marketing team. Prior to joining Premier Hotels of Asia as the Sales and Marketing Representative for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in India, she promoted the international luxury hotel collection managed by Heavens Portfolio.

A graduate in Hotel Management with a Master's degree in Tourism Marketing from Bournemouth University, she brings with her strong personal relationships with key travel agencies and associations in the corporate and luxury travel market. Besides, she also brings in her strong experience in the corporate, leisure and conference segments.

Sales Director

Kendric is the overall sales lead for The Sanchaya, a newly opened luxury resort in Bintan island, near Singapore.

Kendric has a strong 17-year sales and marketing experience in the hospitality and travel business. He has led the sales efforts in Sedona Resorts, Copthorne Orchid and Bintan Lagoon Resort, where he was responsible for achieving sales targets from key segments including Tour Operators and DMCs in South East Asia, North Asia, Greater China, Europe and the U.S. Kendric also worked in American Express Membership Travel Service catering to affluent Cardmembers. Earlier in his career, he sold leisure travel for Anglo-French Travels and Ken-Air Tours and worked with Pegasus Solutions, selling GDS solutions for hotel clients.

Kendric's well-rounded experience and relationships equip him rather well to lead the sales efforts for resorts, including building awareness, forming key partnerships in the priority markets with select tour operators, travel agents, PCO's and corporates, and most importantly, drive room-night numbers from key channels.

ARCHANA SINGH KANDPAL

Sales Director

Archana is responsible for direct Sales and Business Development in the subcontinent. She personally manages key account relationships and serves as Director - Sales in the India Market.

Archana is a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional with a proven track record of over 10 years in the hospitality business. She has worked with Kuwait Airways and leading hotel companies in India such as The Oberoi Group, ITC Hotels and Le Meridien. As a team leader at The Oberoi Group, Archana was responsible for growing occupancy and room revenue from the corporate segment for both brands of the group - Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Trident Hotels. She was also responsible for managing relationships with key domestic travel agencies and Professional Conference Organisers.

A graduate in English Literature from Delhi University and a Hotel Management graduate, Archana brings with her, a good understanding of corporate travel and strong relationships with corporate clients, TMCs, large travel agencies, and PCOs in the India market. In her personal time, she is a keen promoter of contemporary Indian art.
